# Partner program

## What this is about

Content creators, modders and community admins can earn commission by
recommending us. Full details are on our [Partners page](https://suhosting.net/partners).

Commission is based on what the customer actually pays after discounts. Only
**new customers** count, and **Budget Series** servers aren't eligible.

## Applying

1. Go to **Account → Referrals**.
2. Under **Share your promotion plan**, tell us about your audience and how you'll promote us.
3. Optionally choose a **Preferred referral code**.
4. Click **Submit Application**.

We review applications by hand, usually within 48 hours, and email you the
result. If you're declined, you can apply again after 7 days.

## Sharing your code

Once approved, the **Referrals** page shows your code, your referral link,
and a live dashboard of clicks and sales. Your link works for **30 days**: if
someone clicks it and orders within 30 days, the sale is yours. Customers can
also type your code at checkout.

## Getting paid

- Commission becomes available **30 days** after it's earned.
- Click **Request Withdrawal** once you have at least **$100** available. Payouts are sent by **PayPal**.
- Or click **Claim Account Credit** to turn earnings into [account credit](https://knowledgebase.suhosting.net/books/billing/page/account-credit) instantly, up to the normal credit limit.

If a referred customer is refunded, the unpaid commission for that payment is
cancelled.
